Before you read, you need to know a couple things. Panther, Rainy, Niko, Famine, and Ragged are my friends that are mentioned, and Time is my younger sister. Niko has a Jolteon OC, and Famine's favorite Pokemon is Caterpie. Time has a yellow Vaporeon OC named Chaos. Foxx is my main fursona.
I was up late last night, and I didn't go to bed till like, two in the morning. There were two parts to this dream. The first was brought about because I was reading about Black 2 glitches that Panther was talking about. The second...I don't even know...it was a scary dream, and it's really disturbing that I remember all (or most) of it. .__.
It started out as pixels. Yep. I was inside a game. For all intents and purposes, let's say it was Black 2. (Let's note that I've not seen any of Black 2 or White 2 except for the player's choice of character. I'm not watching the play-throughs, I don't even know the name of the starting town.) I just know I was walking along this grassy strip of land that was nine blocks wide (nine steps, nine spaces, whatever you call it) with trees at the very end and a fence next to them. I just walked in a straight line, and the path started getting smaller and smaller. The fence moved in every now and again, and soon I came to the end. There was a girl or lady (I don't quite remember how old she looked, this part is a bit of a blur) at the end, blocking my escape from the fence. Fence on either side of me and girl in front, I was limited to going forward. I remember trying to turn back around, but I simply made the little animation where you walk yet go nowhere in the games. (I'm watching this as if I am the one playing the game, but all I see is the screen.) So, I turn myself around again and try to talk to her. All I get is "..." Well...that's helpful. So for some reason I just start trying to walk through her. For a long time I get nowhere, as you would expect. After a while of this, I finally stumble through her. An exclamation mark pops over her head with the little noise it makes, and she turns around to face me. All she says is "..." again, but then the battle began.
The music was a bit odd, and I thought I had heard it before, but I thought it was just coincidence. (It wasn't until a little later on in the battle that I realized it was a twisted off-vocal version of the Vocaloid song iNSaNiTY.) I had the usual six Pokeballs, and my opponent did as well. She sent out what appeared to be a MissingNo. I sent out my Pokemon as well: a Scolipede nicknamed "Panther". I did a double-take. Not only was Panther one of my best online friends, but she also had a liking to bug-type Pokemon. One of her RP characters had been a Scolipede hybrid, if I remembered correctly. I thought it was a little weird, so I decided to check my other Pokemon. I had Panther the Scolipede, Rainy the Arceus, Niko the Jolteon, Famine the Caterpie, Time the Vaporeon, and Ragged the Axew. I did think this was a little weird now. All of my friends (well, except for Time because she was my sister) as Pokemon they sort of reminded me of? I figured I just wanted to remember my friends, so I thought nothing of it. Panther's sprite behaved as it did in Black, making the same movements, but I thought she was a bit reluctant... I had her attack the MissingNo., the attack hit, but no damage was done and it came up with the message, "It doesn't affect STRANGER's ???..." Now, THIS was weird. Why would the message come up if the attack had already made contact? That didn't make any sense at all. Now it was my opponents turn to attack. The box said, "??? used SURF!" and the animation for surf appeared on the battlefield. I knew that Scolipede was a bug-type, so Surf wouldn't do much. Yet when the attack hit, Panther was KO'd. The box said, "It's SUPER EFFECTIVE!" and Panther let out her distorted cry, falling out of view. The next box disturbed me.
"PANTHER DIED!"
Just the fact that it was in all caps, and said 'died' scared me. Before the screen to choose the next Pokemon came up, I was offered a choice. "View details of death? Yes. No." I was curious, so I hit yes. The new screen reminded me sort of the Pokedex entry. Instead of Scolipede's sprite, there was a little pixel gravemarker with the name "Panther" on it in black letters. I looked at the text. "Cause of Death: Drowning. Lungs filled with water, starved of oxygen. Date of Death: 01/11/11." I quickly closed this. I figured, 'Well, to end this quickly, I need a strong Pokemon.' So, I thought of Rainy the Arceus. Arceus was powerful, Rainy would help me. So I sent her out. Her sprite was also the same, but she, too, seemed reluctant. She attacked with Hyper Beam, but the same thing happened as with Panther's attack. MissingNo. retaliated with Inferno, and Rainy was also KO'd. "RAINY DIED!" appeared, and I again chose to view the details. The grave said "Rainy" this time, and her cause of death was "Burned to death. Flesh stripped from bones, bones turn to ash."
The same thing happened with Niko, Famine, Time, and Ragged. Niko was stabbed to death with Fury Cutter, Famine was eaten alive by a move I can't quite remember, Time was electrocuted by Thunder, and Ragged was put to sleep by Dark Void and was mentally tortured until she was killed as well. As the battle went on, I noticed that Niko had replaced one of her moves with "RUN". (Her sprite looked just like how Niko-Bolt had designed her.) Famine had two "RUN" moves, Time (who bore a striking resemblance to Chaos) had three "RUN"s, and Ragged had all four. The message was the same whenever I hit it: "You can't run from a trainer battle!"
So the battle ended, and I was facing the girl/lady again. The colors of the trees and grass had gotten quite a few shades darker, and there were these mysterious red patches on the ground. The lady simply said, "..." again, and turned, walking back down the fenced path. With every step she took, her colors became darker and darker, till she was a blob of black with white eyes, and then she vanished into thin air. I hit the start button and check on my Pokemon. Their sprites were black with white eyes as well, and they had no HP at all. Beside their names was a big fat "D" that I could only assume meant "DEAD." I started walking back down the path and as I did, everything kept getting darker and darker and darker...until it finally went completely black.
Then it changes. I realize it's dark because my eyes are closed, so I open them, and I'm seeing out as if I'm a real person again. In front of me is a mass of black and red. It's my friends. They're all dead. I can't look away, they're just...lying there...and then I look down. I'm not actually human. Instead, I'm in Foxx's body.
And my paws are stained with their blood.
There's a little white text box that I see at the bottom of my vision as I look back at my five friends and sister.
